Cheryl joined Midland Transport in 1996 as a Human Resources Coordinator, and today is the Human Resources Supervisor, managing a staff of three. In her department, Cheryl works on many areas of expertise, including employee benefits, disability management, recruitment, policies, communication and employment equity.

“From day one, I have been given the opportunity to work on a diverse set of projects that match my interests and challenge my skills,” explains Cheryl.

She has traveled to Midland’s extensive network of terminals from St. John’s, Nfld. to Brampton, Ontario. She’s also taken part in management courses in Toronto, policy training in St. Louis, Missouri and is involved in NB Equity and HRANB.

“I’ve learned that working with others is the key to achieving results,” says Cheryl. “Irving has given me many opportunities and awarded me with more challenging projects.”
