Steven’s career with Irving started in 1999 as a Processing Supervisor with Cavendish Farms. Only one year later he joined Cavendish Agri Services as a manager in training. There, he learned first hand sales and service of a branch and travelled extensively across the Maritimes providing GPS services for customers and supervising the crop scouts in his region.
This past spring, Steven was promoted to Branch Manager of our Salisbury branch. Steven manages the sales, services, inventory and budgeting, as well as supervising 25 employees at peak season. He’s recently been to Virginia, USA and Ontario for seminars and training. Irving Group companies offer current graduates excellent programs to give them a better sense of the overall operation of the company.

With 20 locations and 14 mixing plants, Cavendish Agri provides a variety of services including irrigation, farm supplies, crop scouting services and precision GPS services. Using global positioning systems (GPS), fields can be mapped and accurately sampled to locate nutrient variances in the field allowing for more efficient farm management. Our growth continues with a new line of forage and turf seed products. |
