Wholesale and retail constitute the highest single source of employment, as well; health and social services are the second highest employer. Construction industries and transportation are the third and fourth in importance as service sector employment creators in the Fundy region. Agriculture and forestry dominate a resource-based economy of rural King’s-Albert. Food processing and forest product manufacturing are the two most important manufacturing activities in the Sussex region. The Bay of Fundy is a tourism icon with the Hopewell Rocks, Fundy National Park, and Cape Enrage all offering visitors an unforgettable experience.
