Training and Development
All new Casino Nova Scotia employees attend a day and a half orientation program. Orientation is designed to provide important information on key company policies, work-related issues and responsibilities. As well, the LEGACY customer service program is introduced. Casino Nova Scotia strives to meet the ever-changing learning and development needs of employees. We commit significant resources to offer employees a broad range of in-house and external training programs and services.

These programs ensure compliance with all company gaming policies and provincial gaming regulations. Involvement in the Community
Casino Nova Scotia creates a positive impact on the communities in which we live and work. In addition to corporate sponsorships, Casino Nova Scotia employees have initiated many internal projects that reach into the community.
Helping Hand Fund
The Helping Hand fund provides financial assistance to employees of Casino Nova Scotia in times of emergency. Money for the fund is raised internally by employees through a series of annual events. A committee of employees is elected to manage the fund with the full support of Casino Nova Scotia.
Having Fun
Annual social events are planned for our employees' enjoyment and include: Leadership Recognition Awards, Service Awards Celebration, Summer Fun Day, Holiday Gala, Children's Holiday Party, Annual Golf Tournament and All Employee Meetings.
