In February 2011, Halifax will host the Canada Winter Games – the largest multi-sport event in Nova Scotia history and Halifax’s first Canada Winter Games.

More than 2,700 athletes from across Canada will compete in over 20 sports, attracting thousands of visitors, VIPs, officials and media.

More than 5,000 volunteers will be needed from February 11-27, 2011 to form the backbone of the Games. History will unfold as new records are set, careers are launched, champions are born, and medals are awarded.  This is your chance to be a part of something truly special.  From IT Services, to Mascot Support to Athlete Village Operations, there’s something for everyone and we’re recruiting now.

The Games will hire 80 keen individuals leading up to the 2011 Games. We need employees in every area, from accounting and accreditation, to transportation and translation.
