In 2011, Halifax will host the Canada Winter Games – the largest event in Halifax’s history and the first Canada Winter Games to ever be hosted in a city this size.
More than 2,700 athletes from across Canada will compete in over 20 sports, attracting thousands of visitors, VIPs, officials and media.

We’re looking for committed, organized people who know how to get results. Show how much you love Nova Scotia by helping us plan the Games.
We need committee leaders, committee members and project managers in a number of areas, including sports and venue operations, volunteer management, transportation, risk management, telecommunications and media relations.
We believe in diversity and offer a supportive, inclusive environment for both volunteers and staff.
The Games will hire 80 keen individuals leading up to the 2011 Games. We need employees in every area, from accounting and accreditation, to transportation and translation.
